The Reed Society for the Sacred Arts believes that art is born through a combination of inspiration, discipline, and a teacher who ignites a light in his/her students. The journey of an individual through the mastery of an art form should be appreciated in addition to any of their tangible products. We wish to shed light on the processes and inner-workings of sacred arts.
Our hope here at Reed Society is for individuals in the United States and beyond to be exposed to the art forms that have flourished for centuries founded on a science of subtleties.
Our mission: Through the hosting of events, workshops, lectures, performances, and exhibitions, our mission is to create a paradigm shift in how the public approaches art. Reed Society aims to cultivate understanding of the sacred aspects of the artistic process from inspiration to execution. We need to see that art is simply the manifestation of the artists’ internal transformation in the sacred arts.
